Community Agency School Services

Community Agency School Services (CASS) is an FCPS program coordinated by licensed social workers, assigned to each school feeder pattern to increase student achievement through strengthening families. They assess student and family needs, link families to school and community services and track student progress. Families are served regardless of income. The only eligibility criterion is that the family has or will have a child (through age 18) enrolled in FCPS.

All services are free and participation is voluntary and on a confidential basis.

Conveniently located in each school community, CASS interagency coordinators facilitate collaboration and cooperation among schools, private/public agencies, communities and families:
  • By phone
  • In schools
  • In homes
  • At other community sites
